We wait for a new year to start a new life — kinda, it's the perfect time to kick things off. We grind every day, nine hours straight, five or six days a week, just eyeing that weekend (Sunday) to snag two extra hours of sleep and wake up a bit late. We hold off on calling our close ones — like relatives, parents — until holidays or special occasions like birthdays roll around. We hustle full-time to give the best to our kids.
We say, "I'll start running from tomorrow morning." We say, "I'll start making it happen from tomorrow."
We head to the countryside to work and stack money for the family. Sometimes, we don't even see our own child being born. Sometimes, we grind for years, only coming home once to spend a few days, then bounce back to the job.
We build these massive homes with tons of rooms and stuff crammed inside. But really, we just chill in a tiny corner of it all. Some rooms sit empty for months, even years. We say it's for special occasions. But what occasions? Are we just waiting for something big to drop, or for that perfect day to finally show up?
We say, "If I had an iPhone, I'd film some crazy stuff." We say, "If I had the cash to travel countries, I'd shoot cool videos."
We spend most of our lives chasing those little happy moments. Time flies by. It's 2026 already. Feels like just yesterday I was a fourth-grade schoolboy, kicking a football with my friends, and now I'm 22. I remember those park days with my parents...
There's two options. Either wake up and chase your dreams, or keep dreaming while you sleep.
Waking up in the morning? That's hard. Hitting snooze on the alarm and drifting back? Not hard at all.
Sometimes, we box in our own freedom. And we try to control others.
We scroll Instagram nonstop, hunting for that spark to start something of our own.
Never wait for something from someone. It's your life — you're the one responsible for everything going down around you.
Sometimes, we're not ready for new experiences. We fear just trying it out. We hate rejections. We keep silent. We know it's wrong. We keep silent. We might get fired. No. We keep silent. We're taught that if someone's older, they're always right. We keep silent.
We throw weddings just to show off. We turn it into a game of who can bid higher.
We don't listen to the silence. We keep hiding.
We build things. We make things. We design things. We write stories. And either we're just another cell in the internet's database... or we shift people's mindsets. Improve their lives. Make them happy. Or even push them to the edge.
We stack some money. We're rich. We can buy anything. But not appetite, not health, not time, not those raw moments, not parents, not family, not homies, not happiness.
Age is just a number. Everything's relative. But it's not infinite.
There's always someone better than you.
Sometimes, just a cup of water with bread left out in the open, getting a little rocked by the wind, is enough. Dip it in the water, soften it up, and eat.
Sometimes, when the electricity cuts out, it's actually fun. We slowly close the fridge, watching that little bulb fade off.
